Did MDLM something different and forgot he to tell us? For the moment I still am inclined to think that the right training will lead to equal results. But for now there is no evidence for that. So maybe it will be in the genes after all. But I will not admit that before I have tried all logical options.Temposchluckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07977208394417444785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10713928.post-83573803468921709432008-05-08T02:22:00.000+02:002008-05-08T02:22:00.000+02:00What did MDLM have that others don't? I personally know two guys who reached Master within 3 years of taking up chess, and they never touched a tactics book. Talent is a huge factor in how your rating ultimately goes. But it's easier to train than it is to obtain good genes.

A Random NicknameAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10713928.post-23149811845347315752008-05-03T06:23:00.000+02:002008-05-03T06:23:00.000+02:00BP, sureBP, sureTemposchluckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07977208394417444785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10713928.post-21279701979600711062008-05-03T01:59:00.000+02:002008-05-03T01:59:00.000+02:00I am now at 1678, if you still updateI am now at 1678, if you still updateBlunderPronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08316158004635698398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10713928.post-76955845141726697842008-02-20T16:27:00.000+01:002008-02-20T16:27:00.000+01:00950 to 1400, rating change of 450.
