Knight for life.

Druss asked a question about the amount of Knights Errant.
Right now there are 14 active Knights, following some sort of DLM-based program and posting on it regularly.
There are 13 Knights who have completed their program. From that moment on they are not obliged to continue to update their blog, but 6 of them are still posting.
14 Knights have stopped with the program so far. Of them 3 have gone 404 and are erased from the blogosphere.
I joined the Knights in februari 2005, and the brotherhood has only grown ever since.
The Knights who quit did this mostly in the first weeks of their program.
The estimated average rating gain from the program is about 110 points.

  1. Interesting statistics. I wonder where it will be for everyone after 400 days :-).

I was just thinking about TCT v. CT-Art recently. I would definitely recommend TCT for any prospective knights who are not clearly above 1400-1500 range. TCT has more positions that a typical intermediate level player would encounter, and then bungle.

  2. King,

I started with TCT at a rating of 1532. It was the main cause my rating became about 1650. I did only step 3 - 5. I have never seen a better method.

  3. I'd suggest a slightly different look at the numbers...
