Finding my way in the chessdevelopment- and training jungle in order to improve my rating.
Tempo- I had been doing CTS too, but is getting bored with it. You dont have this problem? I dont know.. maybe its just me..
I never get enough to see myself blundering. . .I have a great sense of being on the right track. How can I even think about learning chess when I can't solve these simple puzzles at CTS a tempo? I want to learn this first, no matter the costs. And since I have to learn this anyway I better speed up. Because if you do this slow, it will cost you years. And it would become v e r y b o r i n g. . .I believe you can't improve 100 points OTB without improving ca. 100 points at CTS at the same time (even if you use another way of improvement). Since I know the gain of rating at CTS is 30 points per 10,000 problems AT MOST, I'm prepared for what lies ahead.Allthough the "hatchoe" in the title of my blog intends to indicate that I'm allergic for effort,I was never lazy. As long as it isn't physical, that is.
I admire you up there. The difficulty in such peaks is always to hold them. Good luck!
The top of a wave is always followed by a dale. The RD determines the amplitude of the waves. When the RD = 15 the bandwitdth is about +/- 25 points.
And what exactly is the meaning of Hatchoe?
The noise a Dutchman makes when sneezing. I couldn't find a translation. . .
LOL! Is that for real? Hatchoe! Bless you. :)
ummmm, I think translated that would be "achoo" :)
I think "achoo" should be followed by "!" to be completely accurate.
Great going TS! Keep leading the way sir.PS
BTW, this makes me want to get broadband at home. I'm too cheap to give up my dialup. I can only do a couple of problems at work when I find the time.PS
PS,The first month after Margriet discovered internet and I got a telephone bill off $700,- I realized that I needed a broadband connection. . .That's a long time ago now.
well done tempo, i see you're improving constantly! :)
They charge for local phone calls there?! Wow, if they did that here I would have gotten broadband a long time ago too. But it's hard to pass up $9 a month.PS
