Off line

I have been offline for some time due to computer failure. In happy expectation of a new system I found a temporary solution. So I'm in the air again, but without all my handy tools which I have gathered over the years. In the next few days I will share my experiences with the merlon and crenel metaphor.

Comments

  1. I had no idea what merlons and crenels are in real life, and having looked it up I'm sure I'm not alone.

    Merlons and crenels.

Basically, merlons are the solid parts of those rectangular cut parpaets on castles, while crenels are the empty parts which you can shoot your weapons. (Of course, you don't bring your army out of a crenel, but sit back like a wimp and fire long-range weapons).

  2. Sweet! Looking forward to it. I'm trying to put my newly acquired theory of the brain into practice, though it will take time before I have results and perspective.

  3. Blue,
I didn't realize that castles aren't all that common in the US.

  4. Thanks BDK. Ever since Tempo started referring to merlons and crenels i was wondering what they were. I thought they might be some sort of physiological thing like a neuron. I was too embarrassed to ask. LOL

Tempo: I'm glad to know it was nothing more then computer issues. I'm looking forward to reading your next post.
